Soros Wind Farm, Greece
Soros wind farm is in Evros, about 25 km north of Alexandroupoli near the village of Aisymi at an altitude of 832m. In total, in the area of Thrace, we operate with five wind farms with a total installed capacity of 63.1 MW
Community impact
We actively contribute to the sustainable development and prosperity of the areas of Greece where we operate, applying the Creating Shared Value (CSV) model, finding new business opportunities, solving social issues and being competitive while creating long-term sustainable value.
In July 2022, we created our first circular economy project in Greece. We’ve used damaged electricity poles to create a picnic area near our Soros wind farm.
In June 2023, we organized a hiking event in the wind farm with education of children and youth people about wind energy in the village of Aisymi, as part of World Wind Energy Day activities.
