Our contribution to the local communities of the areas where we operate, throughout Greece, is a central pillar of our action. Through special programs, volunteering action, reforestation, donations and support to cultural initiatives, we are in constant interaction with communities and prove in practice our commitment to sustainable development.
Actively supporting Organizations, Foundations, NGOs, Communities, Institutional Bodies and Civil Protection Corps, we have implemented, since 2020, more than 320 support initiatives throughout the country.
Below are some of our most important initiatives, at a national and local level, in six regions of the country.

Since 2022, we implement the corporate volunteering program "Be The Hero", carrying out actions, together with our employees, in collaboration with environmental organizations, charitable organizations and communities across Greece. Having already won 4 awards, the program continues with initiatives all over Greece. So far:

We have established, since 2024, the annual Community Week initiative, on the occasion of International Volunteer Day (December 5) Our first week of giving and solidarity included 6 activities in collaboration with institutions and organizations throughout Greece: Chatzipaterio Rehabilitation Center for Children with Disabilities, Wise Greece, Theotokos Foundation, Athens Nursing Home, Boroume and SOS Children's Village of Thrace, in Alexandroupoli. In 2025, we organized 7 more initiatives, in collaboration with the General Anti-Cancer - Oncology Hospital "Agios Savvas", the Margarita Workshop, the Athens Home for the Elderly, Trees4Greece, "Boroume sti Laiki", the SOS Children's Village of Thrace, in Alexandroupoli, and Kivotos, in Kozani.
Our employees enthusiastically embraced the initiative, offering a total of 1,000 hours of volunteer work.

We donate food and basic necessities to a variety of organizations, communities, associations supporting people with disabilities and vulnerable groups throughout Greece. At the same time, we support therapeutic and educational programs of charitable organizations, such as the Therapeutic Listening program of the "Chatzipaterio" Child Rehabilitation & Support Center and the ARTemeis Social Cooperative Enterprise of ELEPAP.

During the festive periods of Christmas and Easter, we support the work of charitable organizations by organizing charity bazaars in our offices. Through these initiatives, we supported ELEPAP (Christmas 2022 & 2023), Make-A-Wish Greece (Christmas 2024 & Easter 2026), the "Chatzipaterio" Child Rehabilitation & Support Center (Easter 2023, 2024 & 2025) and Margarita Vocational Training Center (Christmas 2025).
Additionally, in Easter 2026, we organized a volunteering activity to prepare and offer meals to our homeless fellow citizens in need, in the center of Athens, in collaboration with The Love Van.

We have supported the work of the Hellenic Fire Corps, with a series of initiatives.

Since 2021, we support George Mouchthis, table tennis champion with disabilities, supporting him in his participations in international competitions with the colors of our National Team.

In the context of our corporate rebranding, we organized a circular economy action, in collaboration with Fabric Republic. Over 200 items (such as vests, hats, t-shirts, banners and bags), which were intertwined with past actions of our company, were turned into brand new accessories and donated for a good cause.

We participate in running events, such as the Authentic Athens Marathon (2022 - 2024), the Athens Half Marathon (2023) and Greece Race For The Cure (2025) with the Running Team of our people. At the same time, with our participation we support the work of organizations and associations, such as Exelixi Zois and Alma Zois.

We are implementing, in collaboration with the organization TYTO, an innovative program, installing artificial nests that will be colonized by the Tyto barn owl, in 12 of our solar parks:

During the Covid-19 pandemic, we donated medical equipment to healthcare facilities all over Greece, and more specifically:
In 2024 and 2025, we implemented actions to support the "SOS Children's Village of Thrace" in Alexandroupoli, by painting and aesthetically upgrading the external walls of the facilities. At the same time, we donated sports equipment and professional-sized basketballs for the children residing in the Village.

In 2022, we created a special recreation area in the area of the "Soros" Wind Farm in Alexandroupolis, using materials from medium voltage pylons, in order to create a resting point for visitors and an observation spot for fire protection purposes.

From 2020 to 2023, we donated food and basic necessities to a multitude of organizations, communities, disability support associations and vulnerable groups (SOS Children's Villages of Alexandroupolis, "Merimna" Philanthropic Association of Evros, Association of Families of Evros Prefecture, Cultural Association of Aisymi et al.).

As part of Global Wind Day 2023, we organized a special Hiking activity in the area of Aisymi, with the participation of dozens of children.


From 2021 to 2023, we supported the activities of the Patras Cycling Club, as well as the conduct of the "Thysias" Cycling Tour, with the participation of hundreds of athletes. In 2021, the route of the Tour passed through our "Lithos" Wind Farm, in Kalavryta.

In 2021, we supported the promotion of the historical hiking trail of Paleon Patron Germanos, the route that connects the Monastery of Agia Lavra with Petroto, just outside of Patras.

Since 2020, we donate food and basic necessities to a variety of organizations and associations in Achaia ("To Foteino Asteri" et. al.)
In 2024, in collaboration with the University of Western Macedonia and the Cluster of Bioeconomy & Environment of Western Macedonia (CluBE), we created a new wooden playground that was symbolically named "Kivotos" using pallets from the construction of our "Perasma" solar cluster. Thus, we strengthened the entertainment infrastructure of the Recovery - Rehabilitation, Day Care Center for People with Disabilities "Kivotos", in Kozani.

From 2021 to 2023, we implemented the educational program Vamvakies A Social Green Project, for all citizens of Kozani. The aim of the program was to strengthen local entrepreneurship, while as part of the program a group of women cultivated aromatic plants in the Vamvakies Solar Park, from which the Myroland product line was created.

As part of Global Wind Day 2024, we organized a special activity "transforming" our "Zoodochos Pigi" Wind Farm, into an original knowledge center for children and young Scouts.

We supported the organization of the 12th Youth Basketball Final Four 2024-2025, a top sporting event for the Western Macedonia region, promoting sportsmanship and fair competition among young people.

Every year, we donate food and basic necessities to a variety of local organizations ("Kivotos" et. al.). We also support Christmas and other holiday events in the wider area of Kozani.

In 2023, we undertook the study of energy needs in Mavrodendri, Kozani and implemented a three-stage program, through which residents received personalized support to improve their quality of life. We also implemented a series of initiatives supporting the school community, local livestock farming, the Church, the cultural activity of the area, etc.

In the village of Polymylos, we actively support, with continuous initiatives, the local community. During the Covid-19 pandemic, we provided technology equipment for students to attend classes remotely, as well as medical equipment at the Community Health Center.

In 2024, we completed in the Sidera Community the renovation and highlighting of the historical architecture of the old village school building (constructed in 1930), which is now a cultural meeting center of the local community.


In 2023, we supported two local sports clubs, the Athletic Club "Sirens" and the AO "Proteas", in Grevena, aiming to continue their athletic activity in national championships.
From 2020 to 2023, we provided food, necessities and school equipment, to the Community of Argyri.

Since 2020, we support the organization of cultural events in the Municipality of Malevizi, near the Voskero Wind Farm.

In 2020, in collaboration with the Natural History Museum of Crete and the University of Crete, we created special feeders for birds of prey, near the Agios Kyrillos and Kouloukonas Wind Farms, in the context of biodiversity protection. Since then, we have continued feeding and operating the feeders.

In 2022, we organized a road safety program in the Municipality of Malevizi, aiming to inform and raise awareness for the locals, in collaboration with the Road Safety Institute "Pavlos Mylonas".

From 2020 to 2023, we supported the Social Grocery of Malevizi, providing basic necessities.

In Kafireas, we completed a long-term project: the reforestation of the historic forest of Kastanologgos. The centuries-old wild chestnut forest, reduced by 40% in recent decades, was restored on our own initiative by planting 30,000 new trees in an area of 660 acres.

During the construction of the Kafireas Wind Cluster, we implemented a series of initiatives towards the local community of Karystos:

We strengthened local beekeeping in the Karystos area. With our decisive contribution and after 5-year procedures, in 2024, the European Commission registered the Greek flower honey "Kissouri" as a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).

We supported sports events and clubs in Karystos:

We preserved and highlighted the ancient furnace discovered during the construction of Kafireas, in the area of Amygdalia.

From the beginning of the construction of the Kafireas Wind Park until 2023, we donated food and basic necessities to a variety of organizations, communities, social groceries, associations supporting people with disabilities and vulnerable groups ("Agios Nikolaos" Home for the Elderly, Social Grocery of the Municipality of Karystos et. al.).

We donated a special service van for people with disabilities to the Association "Heri-Heri" for all their transport needs, as well as technical equipment in 2023.


We supported the excursions and activities of Martino High School, through the sponsorship of annual calendars.

From 2020 to 2023, we made donations to charitable organizations in Lamia (such as the Lamia Girls' Orphanage, the Rachoutio Home for the Elderly et. al.) and local communities in the Municipality of Makrakomi.

We collaborate with the National Technical University of Athens, the Technical University of Crete, the Hellenic Mediterranean University and the Democritus University of Thrace, strengthening our connection with the academic community. Our goal is to actively participate in presentations, contribute to research initiatives and share knowledge, in order to cultivate an environment for innovation, dialogue and the development of educational synergies.

We implement, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports, the educational program "Energy on the Go", with which we raise awareness of children and young people in green energy. Since 2014, over 4,700 students from all over Greece have participated in the program.

The program is implemented in elementary, middle, high school and vocational school classrooms, as well as with visits by students and youth to our Corporate Hub and to the company's plants, so that they can learn more about the production of energy from renewable sources.
With the aim of raising the awareness of our employees about disability, equality and diversity, we organize information and open dialogue events in our offices, together with special guests, in the context of the respective Global Days. Namely, we organized talks and seminars on:

In 2023, for the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we welcomed to our offices in Athens benefiting from Exelixi Zois, to present the professional opportunities offered by the energy sector in Greece.

In 2025, strengthening our commitment to social responsibility and supporting human life issues, we implemented the "Love Can Save Lives" program, aimed at raising awareness about organ donation and transplants. In this context, we organized a discussion with Sandy Lenti, a heart transplant recipient, as well as an awareness session with the Hellenic Transplant Organization.

Each year, we give our employees the opportunity to donate their Christmas gift to a social cause through the Givelink platform, and we doubled their donation to support families and children facing difficulties. In total, we have donated 4 tons of food and other items to the following organizations: “Mazi Gia to Paidi" Association, “I Agalia” Association, "Asylon Aniaton" Hospice for Neuro-disability, “Orizontes” KEEPEA, "Exelixi Zois", "Anagennisi", Frontizo, Co2gether and To Foteino Asteri in Patras.

We proceeded, in collaboration with Library4all, to donate books to selected kindergartens and elementary schools whose libraries needed support. Thanks to the donation of books for children aged 4 to 12 by our employees, we collected reading material that was delivered to schools and to the "Diavazontas Megalono" Organization.

In another collaboration with the National Technical University of Athens, we support the "Prometheus" Eco-Racing student team in the construction of high-energy-efficient electric vehicles. The team represents Greece every year in an international competition, against top universities from around the world, having received significant distinctions to date.

We support the Aiolos NTUA student team, an interdisciplinary group of NTUA students, active in the field of wind energy, with the aim of developing innovative, efficient and sustainable small-scale solutions. The team designs and manufactures small wind turbines, participating in the annual International Small Wind Turbine Contest.

Join us on a road trip across Greece as we discover together our plants, along with how we support local communities, in all the areas where we operate across the country. We travel from Achaia to Kozani and from South Evia to Crete, where the people of Principia, in collaboration with Local Institutions and Societies, have created relationships of shared value.
With all our initiatives, we confirm daily our commitment to actions that support sustainable development and benefit society and local communities throughout the country.
