This year, the holiday season at Principia was shaped by two key elements: supporting our communities and the active involvement of our people.
We designed a series of initiatives that brought together giving, joy and a strong sense of togetherness. With solidarity in mind, and with the participation of our people, we contributed to communities all around Greece and supported important causes, through every aspect of our activities.
A Bazaar that Brought Smiles
At our Corporate Hub, we hosted a special charity bazaar in collaboration with “Margarita Vocational Training Center”. Our people had the opportunity to purchase gifts, ornaments and handcrafted items, while supporting the important work of the organization. Adding even more meaning to the initiative, many of the ornaments had been co-created by our colleagues and the organization’s beneficiaries during this year’s Community Week - making the contribution deeply personal and heartfelt.
Choosing a Gift - or Choosing to Give
For this year’s corporate gifts, we gave our people complete freedom of choice: from festive hampers and wellness sessions to a “secret” option with personalized surprises from… “Santa Claus”. Those who wished could instead donate the equivalent value of their gift to a social cause. The company matched every such contribution and, in collaboration with the Givelink platform, directed the total amount to the purchase of essential goods for families and children in need.
Through this initiative, we supported the work of the following organizations: Asylo Aniáton, “Anagennisi” Association of Parents & Friends of People with Autism, To Fotino Asteri, Save Your Hood, Exelixi Zois, “Frontizo” Day Center for People with Dementia, Association of Persons with Disabilities of Halkidiki “Agapi” and Co2gether.
Circular Economy in Practice
At the same time, every colleague received a symbolic gift: a waterproof backpack created through a circular-economy project delivered in collaboration with NGO “Fabric Republic”. By repurposing part of the 962 kg of plastic covers from the 26 battery containers of our first BESS in Chalkidiki, “Themelio”, we transformed unused material into a useful everyday item - while also enabling 150 families to access clean clothing.
We close the year having shared moments that brought us closer together and initiatives that created tangible, positive impact for people and communities. With the same spirit, we move forward into 2026 - committed to participation, solidarity and the belief that, when we act together, we can achieve even more.
