We Ran for Life at Greece Race for the Cure

The Principia Running Team proudly participated in the Greece Race for the Cure 2025, the largest running event in Greece dedicated to the prevention and fight against breast cancer. The Greece Race for the Cure is part of an international initiative held in dozens of countries worldwide, aiming to raise awareness, promote prevention, and support women fighting their personal battles.

Our participation carried a double meaning: on one hand, we stood by all women who face breast cancer every day; on the other, we contributed to raising public awareness about the importance of early diagnosis and access to better treatments.

Together with thousands of runners, we filled the streets of Athens with a strong message of solidarity and hope: breast cancer concerns us all, and the fight for prevention and cure is a collective responsibility. By joining Greece Race for the Cure, we reaffirmed our commitment to support initiatives that unite sports, wellbeing, and social responsibility.

Wellbeing at the Core

At Principia, we believe that wellbeing is a cornerstone of our corporate culture. Our consistent presence in running events such as the Athens Authentic Marathon and the Athens Half Marathon is a clear demonstration that sports, wellness, and community engagement are at the heart of our actions.

For us, wellbeing means caring for the body, the mind, and the community. This approach is reflected in a wide range of initiatives, including:

Our participation in the Greece Race for the Cure is another step in this direction. We support women battling breast cancer, as well as those striving for equality, confidence, and empowerment. Similarly, initiatives such as the Krav Maga class on International Women’s Day highlighted the importance of self-protection and personal empowerment, underlining the value of safety and independence in every woman’s life.

Commitment to Social Responsibility and Sustainable Growth

As a company that creates value through energy, we remain committed to a strategy that combines sustainable growth with social responsibility. Our participation in Greece Race for the Cure is part of this broader commitment to invest in actions that promote health, equality, and progress for all.

At Principia, we continue to build a world with more health and fewer inequalities, where the empowerment of people and communities goes hand in hand with development and innovation in the energy sector..
