We celebrated Principia's first Christmas with a series of actions, focusing on solidarity and social contribution
For another holiday season, we organized a series of Christmas activities, both for our employees and to support those in need. In this context, we organized in collaboration with Make-A-Wish Greece, a charity volunteering bazaar, the proceeds of which will support the fulfillment of wishes for children with serious illnesses.
We also gave those who wish to do so the opportunity to offer, through the Givelink platform, their Christmas gift for a social cause, and we doubled their donation to support families and children facing difficulties.
We supported children's dreams
Based on our commitment to solidarity and social contribution, we organized a Christmas Bazaar at our offices, in collaboration with Make-A-Wish Greece. Our employees had the opportunity to purchase gifts, ornaments, decorative items and delicacies, with the proceeds going to support the organization's programs.
Make-A-Wish is an international non-profit organization whose mission is to fulfill the wishes of children suffering from serious or life-threatening illnesses. The goal is to offer hope, strength and joy to children and their families, creating unique experiences that can change their lives. Make-A-Wish Greece was founded in 1996 and has already fulfilled 3.000 children's wishes in our country.
Special gifts for everyone
This holiday season, we invited all our employees to choose their own, special gift. Among the options were festive packages with drinks and delicacies, wellbeing & meditation sessions, as well as the surprise option, with "Santa Claus" handing out a personalized gift to everyone. Instead of receiving a gift, employees were also able to choose that the corresponding amount be redirected to charity.
The company doubled the amount of money raised, and then proceeded to donate it through the platform Givelink, to purchase basic necessities for families and children in need of support. This decision reflects our commitment to social contribution, creating positive change in as many ways as we can.
Practical solidarity
The year that closes is marked by our practical contribution to social causes, as through 36 initiatives, we have supported 21 Institutions and Organizations in local communities throughout Greece. Also, in 2024, through the corporate volunteering program "Be The Hero", we implemented 10 actions nationwide, gathering a total of 1,030 hours of offer. Recently, on the occasion of World Volunteer Day (5/12), We organized Community Week, and through six voluntary solidarity actions we stood by organizations that do important work and gave joy, care and love together.
