Sustainable strategy for grass management.
The practice refers to the optimization of operating costs, production efficiency and environment, relevant with the weed management of the plants by the use of the sheep.
The PV plant is constructed in an area that the weed growth is a continuous process that has to be managed by the O&M team.
The main advantages derived from the practice are: decrease of damages of PV panels; decrease of Operating costs; avoid Production Losses. Moreover, among the benefits already mentioned, the dirt pollution of the panels (and the rest of equipment) remains the minimum possible due to the fact that it is avoided the dust created during cutting of weed by the use of mechanical means and the one from the plant secretions.
