We continue our support towards the Fire Service

The protection of people, the natural environment and local communities is consistently at the center of our activity. In this context, we responded to the request of the Xanthi Fire Service, offering specialized personal protective equipment to strengthen its operational work.

In particular, we offered the Service full face masks and special filters for particles, chemicals and fragments. This equipment is necessary for the protection of firefighters during their action in the field and comes to support the demanding work they perform every day.

A collaboration across the years

This action is a continuation of our many years of support to the Fire Brigade and the civil protection structures in the areas where we operate, through various initiatives. Among others:

At the same time, our cooperation includes joint preparedness and fire safety exercises. A typical example is the evacuation exercise with the 4th EMAK in our wind farm in Rodopi, as well as the exercises (fire drills) that have been carried out in our facilities in collaboration with local Fire Services. In the area of Xanthi, after all, this cooperation has already been reflected in a preparedness exercise at  the Karydia photovoltaic park.

By once again supporting the Xanthi Fire Service, we continue this stable cooperation and contribute in a practical way to the strengthening of the people who are on the front line of the protection of local communities and the natural environment. At the same time, we reaffirm our commitment to safety, confirming that prevention and cooperation are our main priorities in all our activities.
