The active involvement of employees in Principia's rebranding, which strengthened corporate culture and team feeling, won an honorary distinction at the HR Awards
We were distinguished with the Silver Award in the "Best Employee Engagement Initiative" category of the HR Awards 2024, for our holistic internal communication initiative during our rebranding, investing in the dynamic participation of employees at all stages of change.
Holistic approach for our new era
Principia's new corporate identity marked a new chapter in our history and was an opportunity for an exciting journey of change. In the preparatory phase, we created a Rebranding Committee, which participated in qualitative research and the development of the new visual identity. At the same time, we created an internal communication campaign that enhanced the feeling of anticipation for the new era and culminated in everyone's presence at the Launch Event, with invited partners, institutional and production partners of the company.
One day after the official launch of the new name, we all met together for a team building event, where we got to know the company's new Vision, Mission and Values. At the same time, we were informed about the new brand guideline through specially designed experiential activities and strengthened the feeling of cooperation through team missions. We also distributed new branded merchandising to everyone and invited employees to return the material they had with the old corporate identity.
In partnership with Fabric Republic, old products were turned into brand new accessories, such as scrunchies, bags, pencil holders, key chains, and wallets. This upcycling initiative gave a second life to materials that would end up in the trash, reducing the company's environmental footprint. At the same time, the donation of the new items to "Hadjipaterio" (which he donated to his annual Easter bazaar) was an act of social contribution, linking the rebranding with Principia's corporate social responsibility.
Lasting initiatives
Our distinction at the HR Awards confirms the positive impact of the active involvement of employees in the new era, which resulted in the creation of a collective sense of contribution and enhanced immediacy and trust at interdepartmental and interpersonal level.
This recognition comes shortly after the Gold Award in the category "Internal Communications & Employee Engagement" at the PR Awards 2024, as well as our annual distinctions in the institution of HR Awards. All our human resources initiatives aim to create an inclusive and open communication environment where everyone's ideas and opinions are taken into account.
